About us
History
Founded in 1959 by Dr. Tony Rutledge on the Irishtown Road, the clinic quickly established itself as a trusted community resource. In the 1970s, as the demand for services grew, the surgery moved to Thorncastle Street.
In 1984, Dr. Damian Rutledge joined the practice followed by Dr. Christine Hayes in 1990, bringing with them a wealth of knowledge and expertise that significantly enhanced the quality of care provided to patients.
In 2015, we moved premises to our current location, which allowed us to better serve our growing community and provide enhanced facilities. Furthermore, in 2021, we made a significant decision to merge the surgeries of Ringsend Medical Centre and Park Avenue Medical Centre under one roof providing a comprehensive range of healthcare services all in one location.
In 2023, Dr. Nicholas Rutledge joined the practice.
